Insulation material:

Attention should be paid to the protection of thermal insulation materials when entering the site, and the thermal insulation layer should not be damaged.

Fire hydrant pipes, sprinkler pipes and other fire water systems shall be made of rubber and plastic insulation, and the thickness of insulation materials shall be in accordance with the requirements of construction drawings.

The insulation layer should be tight, the joints should be firmly bonded, and the appearance should be neat and beautiful.

Other matters needing attention:

①. The interface and all gaps of thermal insulation materials shall be tightly bonded with special rubber and plastic glue, and there shall be no weak or loose bonding.

②. When the glue is applied, the inside of the insulation material and the outer wall of the pipe are fully coated. When bonding the insulation material, clean up the debris, dust and oil on the surface of the pipe to ensure the bonding effect of the glue.

In order to ensure the visual effect of thermal insulation, the longitudinal seam of thermal insulation layer shall be placed on the upper part of the pipeline, and the longitudinal seam of adjacent thermal insulation layer shall be staggered by a certain angle.

③. Summer insulation construction, rubber and plastic insulation materials can not be pulled too tight, in case the winter temperature is too low, the insulation layer shrinkage open glue.

④. In winter insulation construction, the indoor ambient temperature should not be lower than 5 ℃, and the bonding effect is not good when the adhesive and tape are lower than 5 ℃.
