Market and Development Trend of Rail Transit Industry
2024-06-19
The "Twelfth Five-Year Development Plan of Rail Transit Equipment Industry" issued by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology pointed out: With the development of my country's national economy and the acceleration of urbanization, my country's rail transit will continue to maintain rapid development in the next 5 to 10 years. The development of the industry provides a larger market space.
According to the National Medium and Long-term Railway Network Planning (2008 Adjustment), my country's railway construction will continue to maintain rapid development, providing a greater market demand for railway equipment, not only new railways and the transformation of existing lines into high-speed EMUs and high-power locomotives, Heavy-duty trucks provide new market demand, and the upgrading of in-service equipment also requires the equipment manufacturing industry to provide good services. It is estimated that during the "Twelfth Five-Year Plan" period, the demand for EMUs will be about 1000 or more, and the demand for high-power AC drive freight electric locomotives and diesel locomotives will be about 5000 or more.
During the "Twelfth Five-Year Plan" period, my country's urban rail transit construction will maintain a moderate scale and a steady speed, and reasonably control newly started projects. At present, Jinan, Taiyuan, Xiamen, Foshan, Changzhou, Lanzhou, Luoyang and other second-tier cities have begun to enter the urban rail transit application process.
According to the statistics of China's Urban Rail Transit Development Report 2012-2013 completed by the National Development and Reform Commission, by the end of 2012, a total of 35 cities across the country had continued to build rail transit lines, with a total of 63 lines, a total of 1399km, 970 stations, 82 lines and 22 sections, a total of 2016km, 1388 stations, and an estimated total investment of about 260 billion yuan. It is estimated that 24 cities will start new rail transit lines in 2013, with a scale of more than 40 sections and 846km. The investment scale of urban rail transit in China is expected to increase by about 12% ~ 15% compared with 2012, and the investment scale will reach 280 billion ~ 290 billion yuan.
According to the urban rail transit construction plan approved by the state, by 2015, more than 30 cities will build 85 rail transit lines. Relevant experts predict that the operating mileage of urban rail transit in China will reach more than 3000 kilometers, and the investment in rail transit in the 12th Five Year Plan will exceed one trillion yuan.
By 2020, 40 cities will build subways, with a total planned mileage of 7000km, 3.4 times the current total mileage. The United States, Russia, India, Brazil, Argentina, Saudi Arabia, Iran, Vietnam and other countries and regions have also successively launched rail transit construction and equipment replacement plans. According to the analysis and prediction of the European Railway Industry Association (UNIFE) and other institutions, by 2015, the global rail transit equipment market will maintain an average annual growth of 3%, with an average annual demand of more than 100 billion euros.
